Buen sonido… un lujazo de tema.

Me presento, mi nombre es DRY y la música para mi es un hecho vital que me acompaña todos los días de manera pasiva… como oyente y disfrutando como tal. Pero he descubierto un atajo en el camino y me he pasado al otro lado… ahí si se disfruta… llevo un mes en ello y con cada sonido que le meto a mi teclado MIDI… alucino en colores. Esto para mi ha comenzado, espero llegar a algún lado y pasar de la frontera de rebiscar el teclado y alucinar durante un buen rato sacando a los sonidos brillo… que tela lo que puedes disfrutar.

Mis problemas son infinitos, pero descubro tal vez el primero… ¿Cómo me acuerdo de los sonidos que me gustan? Voy a comprarme una libreta pero ya.

Un placer haber podido oír el tema y una pena que no haya más disponibles en este momento para bajar.

The static on the D’Angelico sounds EXACTLY like small static discharge that you get when you brush the pickguard.

The pickguard is plastic, and you can make microscopic sparks with your fingers when the air is very dry. Because the volume and tone pots are under the pickguard, the sparks can make a signal that gets into the signal wire of the guitar.

Try plugging the guitar in and rubbing your fingers lighty, but quickly on the pickguard close to the knobs. I expect that you will hear the static.

If so, the solution is to move to someplace really awful and wet, like Belgium.

Or, you can move the volume and tone controls off the pickguard and onto the top of the guitar.

Or you can get an ebony pickguard to fit the guitar. Ebony (or other wood) will not make the electric static like plastic. Plus you will have a really cool pickguard.

Great sounds you get there. (Except for the static.)
